Right up the road  [6/8/2001 14:07:45]

Hi John,

Used to be Annandale street but 3 moves later we're finally housed in Conference Square (extension to Clydesdale Plaza).

Had a bit of a jog into work myself - alarm clock isn't as loud as it used to be!! ;)

From Canada  [7/8/2001 14:19:21]

Good morning all.. Afternoon to all of you in the UK...

I'm from Prince Edward Island, Canada. The smallest of provinces in Canada with a population of about 145 thousand.

Mostly all rural property but some commercial areas.

Weare best known for our potatoes, red clay, lobster and Ann of Green Gables.

The summers are hot and the winters are cold....

Cheers.

This is a world wide site.......and I love it !!  [17/8/2001 10:52:24]

I would like to see a world wide map with little red dots showing where all the members are from.

Maybe during registeration new members could tell you which country they are from so that CCV could upate the global gathering once a week or so........ WDYT ?

This small call centre world  [17/8/2001 11:13:59]

Good idea, Amanda.

We're actually planning a revamp of all parts of CallCentreVoice which relate to members - for instance, we'll be introducing a notification manager, a personal details editor (so you can update your details), unsubscribe facility (for completeness; hopefully nobody will use this ;-) and so on.

As a part of all of this, we'll be introducing extra data for our users. Amongst these things, you'll be able to specify your location. We might therefore introduce such a map in the future, but no promises ;-)

It would be interesting to see how we're covering this small planet, though, wouldn't it?

Hello All - also a new member here; Minnesota USA call center trainer. Great site - used to live in Nottingham, so it is nostalgic to see all the Brit spelling :-) Hope to pop in often - does anyone know why it is so hard to get the chat thingy to work properly??? Or am i always the only one in there?? *lol*

Chatting alone or with others  [18/8/2001 16:02:11]

You're funny Rachel! Yes, sometimes we are all alone in the chat room. Doesn't take long to realize it. But hey, it's a new deal. Certain we'll look back nostalgically on that fact some day - as callcentervoice.com becomes it's destiny.

I'm sipping morning coffee in Boise, Idaho USA. We're known for our potatoes, but we're the 'Gem State' and have more geographic diversity than any other state in the US of A. Underground salt mines, the largest fresh water aquifer in North America, underground ice caves, desert, vast jutting mountain ranges, one of the only north flowing rivers known to mankind. Welcome to my world!

Hi all,
I just registered. Call Centre voice staff, Kudos for the great job. I am Kathmandu, Nepal (the land of thousand temple). I am in Technical and Marketing with a call centre here. Monsoon is almost over here in Kathmandu (thank God for that). If any of you happens to stumble across Kathmandu, look me up.

Where are you all from?  [19/8/2001 08:10:52]

Hi, I am in Bristol England. City just below Wales for those of you who do not know it. Green and leafy city, plenty of telecomms, aerospace and other high-tech industries without the hassle and bustle of London. Nice place to be with plenty of stuff to do, look me up if you come down.

Lovely Orlando, Florida---(DisneyWorld)  [21/8/2001 17:28:59]

Hi!
Marianne here, from lovely Orlando, Florida, USA. Of course, everyone just knows us as 'that place where DisneyWorld is'. :-/

The weather here is delightful every day until about 4PM, when the thunderstorms start.

Glad to find this forum, even if you spell Center funny. ;) (Only kidding-- I know that the Americans are the ones who spell it oddly.)

Marianne

P.S. What festival was the first post referring to?
