Call centre voice seminar or conference ???  [21/8/2001 14:07:37]

Hi.

John if you're reading this have you considered organising a call centre voice conference or seminars??? As this site gets bigger and more popular I think it might be a useful event to have and you could invite member's companies to take a stand or run demonstrations.

Just a thought for you. I would be interested in getting involved if you did decide to run a conference. I'm sure David and other people might like to get involved too.

CCV Conference  [21/8/2001 14:28:11]

Hi my company runs audio conference calls and video data and web events. We might be able to come to an arangement, but as I am only a lowly team leader I don't have much say in charges if it was up to me I would organise dial ins for free. we could accomodate any number of people world wide and organise local dial in numbers for US callers + Q & A sessions etc recordings and replays ( voice and web ) you get the idea, let me know I am not trying to use the site as a selling point by the way.

Conferences, continued...  [21/8/2001 14:37:31]

Hi folks.

Interesting ideas, guys, but I do feel that it is still a little early in the day to be arranging conferences. Perhaps by the time we have 500 members, which shouldn't be too far away (seeing as we're currently just a little shy of 300 members), we will be able to generate enough interest and 'bookings' (taking on-board Rob's idea about stands/exhibitors) but until then, I'd rather build up the community in a 'virtual' sense (buzzword alert ;-)

However, if people really think this idea is a go-er in the more immediate future, please do let me know. After all, if you all want a conference then that's what you'll get! And it won't cost the megabucks that these things normally do (we'll get me Mum to do sarnies ;-)
