Call Center Credit Card Fraud  [8/6/2001 15:48:10]

I'm interested in understanding the techniques or products that can help us prevent credit card fraud in our call center. Our reps currently have a specific script they use for suspicious callers but we're not preventing enough

Hi Jeff, any chance you might post an outline of your script so that we can see if there's anything in it that might be improved upon?

1.Streamline the app taking process using negative databases for verification purposes. There must be something that allows merchants of any sort to purchase lists that are scrubbed from C/C numbers but keep customer personal info available.
2.The whole process of approving C/C transactions uses a combination of account number, account holder information, and in the case of over the phone transactions, a specified matching key ( mother's maiden number ).
3.You must have a scripted and secure interface to the C/C processing clearinghouse.Whether it is just a manual entry TTY screen or an IVR that supports C/C entry.
