C'mon you lurkers, get posting :-)  [24/4/2001 14:35:28]

Hi folks,

I see we have 24 members as of this point in time (2:30pm, Tuesday 24th April) but I think less than half of you have posted anything yet!

It'd be great to hear from you; get involved, don't be shy!

John

PS. Remember, it's your forum, so it's whatever you make of it!

Lurkers - I am not !!  [24/4/2001 17:02:22]

Hi John,

I have been watching the site grow with great interest and amusement too. I cannot believe I managed to catch a new site from its very birth. It has a great design and is fairly easy to use as well. As of 5pm this evening (the only timein the office - I can really sit and use the net) you had 28 members !! Not bad for something which has just launched. I am hoping to move into the internet business, but am still thinking about my ideas.

Anyway, I hope to add some comments on in the next few weeks which should hopefully get other "novices" like myself to start talking.

However, keep up the good work - by the way - where are you based ??

Regards

R

Hi Richard,

We're based in Glasgow, although I personally am based in Edinburgh.

The lurkers lurk on...  [29/5/2001 15:32:35]

Come on folks, don't be shy now - there's a whole wealth of topics we can be discussing - not all of them high-brow, either.

We're especially looking for a bit of balance in the forums; so far, as a few have pointed out, we've got a bias toward management-level and technical bods. Now, it would be great if we could get some more operators and supervisors to take part... maybe even call centre users...???

Periodic reminder  [10/7/2001 10:46:11]

Hi everyone.

Time for my periodic reminder for all those who've joined but not yet posted that this site is your site and you shouldn't feel afraid to participate in the discussion forums - we're a friendly lot, really ;-)

I wantto hear about your ideas, solutions, problems and achievements - after all, you all seem to be pretty knowledgable and I think that together we can build a really valuable resource for this industry.

So, don't be shy and feel free to join in!

Thanks John  [14/7/2001 20:44:25]

Hi John,

I have not had the pleasure of talking to you as yet! I must take my hat off to you as it seems that you have an excellent site here that helps us talk to each other and bounce ideas off each other.

Well Done!
