setting up a call centre  [22/7/2004 19:24:44]

I am working on project that will require a telephone platfoam (call centre) for an electric utility company. This is for the purpose of allowing customers to call regarding faults on the electrical networks. The agents in the cc are supposed to log these comlaints online for the purpose of faults mmanagenent and resolution by the Disptachers.

Meanwhile we are procuring a new PABX with the required facilities. Provisionally we have acquired 10 lines grouped into one with a hunting facility from a telecoms company.

I would like to get some comments on the success of the interim measure before we go for a fully fledged solution.

Experiences from similar industry is more than well come

Hello,

Well, The image, you created about your call center setup is perfect.
What you need in a call center is.

1- Line Hunting Facility.
2- A facility to create the queue of in coming calls.
3- CASH to pay the bills and salaries ;)

The above content/Cost will be increased if you put Voice Over IP in it.

Best of Luck!!
