Interview Procedure in the International Call Centers  [2/8/2004 21:35:05]

Hello Friends,

My name is alok, i am still satisfy with my current role, what i am doing. But still there is a question in my mind. Yes, i am talking about the Interview procedure in the Call Centers. Interview Procedure of call center is very hectic, because employers makes the interview procedure very lengthy. It takes 7 to 8 hours to complete. The interviewer appear in the interview whole day, therefore he/she loses his frieshness over interview, i want to know why its happens in the call centers.

Not even call center industy but also in every field, there is HR department is there to do, these type of works. I want to know why they do not manage these works correctly. They are very much experienced person, and really i don't know why they make the process very lengthy.

I am dam sure that they can solve this problem. What happends in a specific interview day, lots of persons come to give the interview, i know this is difficult to take care of these people, this make the process very lenghty. But HR Department can contact the person before interview and give them a perfect date & time, this will make the process less lenghty.

Thanks
Alok

Thanks Kunal  [3/8/2004 17:20:34]

Hi Kunal, THanks

For giving me knowledge about interview procedure.

Do you know, why I wrote this topic yesterday, i went for interview in International Call Center, where i spend whole the day for interview. I became totally upset after spending whole day. I was panicked when i saw their procedure, trust me its really very tough to sit more than 2 hours, without doing anything. After 2 hours i appeared for my first round of interview, i cleared that round, thereafter again i was waiting for more than 1 hours for my next round. That was my experience for being in interview, so that i wrote this topic.

i would really appreciate if you will give more knowledge about call centers and there functions.

Alok

ecruitment procedure in an International Call Center, especially India.  [29/6/2005 02:33:39]

The recruitment procedure is very simple, it consists of 5 to 8 rounds. The interview rounds are as follows,
1)Personal introduction

2)Objective type computer knowledge test.

3) English grammer, essay wriring, fill in the blanks etc.

4)Listening skills..done by answering to questions after a recorded tape is played.

5,6)Voice test / script reading test (over the phone)

7)Group discussion

8)HR round or final round leading to on the spot job offer.

All call centers may not follow the above mentioned rounds, Representatives with prior Call Center experience may appear just 2-3 rounds and sometimes simply final round with the HR.
