Some excellent news  [18/10/2006 12:41:21]

As many of you will know, this site was started by John Clark back in 2001. The whole site was written by him, and John's stuck around ever since to help CCV grow and become the strong community it is today.

Therefore, you'll all be delighted to hear that yesterday John and his wife Tahra became proud parents of a baby boy.

Conner was born at 13.45 weighing a healthy 8lbs. Mother and baby are doing fine, and as you can see below he is very very cute. (Conner that is...not John!). Long-term members of the site will also be aware that this is the first time we've ever got hold of a photo of the big man himself.

Hopefully John won't forget his old baby now that he's got a new one...but I'm sure we can live without him for a while, and I wish the three of them the very best wishes as they start out in life as a family.

If you've ever found this site interesting or useful now is the time to leave your thanks for John (and Tahra for being a long suffering CCV widow!). Please feel free to add your congratuations to this thread.

Great news for you all, I hope he is a sound sleeper and that you don't end up on the night shift TOO often! (PS Glad to see from the photo that wherever you are Autumn hasn't yet arrived !)

Congratulations  [18/10/2006 13:25:39]

John / Tahra

Congratulations to the pair of you.

Given how nervously excited you've been over the last 2 weeks you actually
look relaxed :-)

Once again congrats

Congrats John!  [17/4/2008 17:24:26]

As the proud parent of a two-year-old son (who is systematically emptying a storage bin while I type this), I can tell you that fatherhhod absolutely rawks. Forget about nights out, drunken walks, sport, concerts, and all the rest. Nothing beats hanging out with your kid!

Better late than never....  [5/5/2008 23:14:01]

I hope the little guy is doing wonderful and that you're fully enjoying fatherhood. I have a son about his age too. Tantrum time has started...lots of fun... :)
