Rewards & Recognition for Project Management team  [19/11/2001 03:42:34]

Hi,

I would like some advice on how one can have a R&R scheme for project managers. This is outside of the yearly appraisal guidelines where you are assesed on projects completion, cost effectiveness etc. My project managers do projects for my CS arm. And I need some ideas on how we can measure their productivity from now till May, next year(month by month basis if possible). Would appreciate any kind of ideas or help.

Rewards and Recognition for Project Management  [4/1/2002 06:46:03]

Hi there

On a personal note, I appreciate time off. With project Management, time is of the essence. Taking a few days off when you need to is sometimes impossible and you tend to work longer hours than others. Being "told" or "given" time off is an incentive to me as I can spend time with my family, etc. Time out parties or social get togethers are great and helps minimise the stress of the job. We often spend time as a team (I belong to a project office consisting of Project Managers and Business Analysts)doing fun activities such as paintball survival or grand prix racing, anything that get's the adrenalin pumping. Money or gift vouchers does not do any harm either.

Regards
