Homeworking and Data Security  [18/6/2008 16:11:27]

I wonder if many Call Centres who have access to customer payment records are having any issues with introducing home-working due to the need to adhere to Payment Card Industry security standards.

Any thoughts on whether PCI standards are having an adverse effect on using homeworkers?

PCI  [18/6/2008 16:20:11]

Any thing that creates more difficulty or work can have a ripple effect and create problems for anyone, including homeworkers.

While I don't think the PCI compliance targets homeoworkers there can be additional steps required to ensure they are compliant.

If a company is still serious about having homeworkers though I don't think PCI would affect this negatively to any extreme extent.
