Note to New Members  [8/1/2004 14:03:53]

Just as a note to all our new members.

Due to the amount of mail we receive via the contact page to the Moderators Mailbox we are unfortunatly unable to answer individual queries regarding Call Center Operations.

Please post any questions to the main forums where someone Should
be able to help you.

Any queries with the technical operation of the site or on site advertising and sponsorship should continue to be sent via the contact page.

Thanks for your time..

Read Me for New Members  [27/1/2004 18:22:56]

If you are a new member to CallCentreVoice, please take the time to read our Advertising Policy and remember that this site is not about advertising - it's about sharing best practise by being part of a lively discussion community. Remember - you wouldn't like it if we came round to your house and posted advertising 'fliers' to your windows, so don't treat our community that way.

Help for new members  [4/3/2004 08:48:29]

Just a quick note to say that if you've joined for free and want to show some appreciation, we'd be delighted if you helped give something back to the site by upgrading to a premium membership. This helps us keep the basic membership free and allows us to cover the significant costs of operating and developing a community of this size.

If you like you can also donate some money to show your appreciation. Remember that every donation helps us keep this community independent, self-financing and impartial.

There is also a help section which might be useful to you as a new member.

All the best,

John

New members, please read this...   [29/4/2004 09:10:58]

Just a bump to the top.

Reading this thread you should be aware that Commercial advertising
is not permitted within the General Forums.

I have had to delete 3 posts this morning where someone asked for advice and
had 3 replies.

The first being a "Can we help you".
The second a "Why can't we get hold of you"
The third being "Our MD is trying to get hold of you."

These being to a member who'd witheld his E-Mail address and the people concernred were calling his company.

The forums are provided for an interchange of information and NOT (don't make me say this again please) advertising.

If you provide a content full reply there is nothing wrong with a tag line of
"You can contact me on xxx-xxxx".

However replies that are adverts of even the sly.

"We've done this before contact us on xxx-xxxx" will be quarantined.

I appreciate that I and the other moderators are walking a thin line here
but the policy relating to adverts has had a positive effect on the quality of the content available here and the reduction of 'junk' or 'spam' posts.

Please note that this applies to all levels of membership. (Horrible aren't I)

Of course some of you are going to disagree with me.

Adverts on CCV  [23/6/2004 09:56:46]

Hi all,

Just as a note on the Adverts portion of this thread.

I've just quarantined a post on Call Center Setup in Romania which had degenereated into a 'Me too here's my phone number thread'

Whilst I'm aware ther are a number of threads like this in the older postings removing those that existed before the new Advertising policy came into force is cumbersome and time consuming. I will however be removing / quarantining posts added to these old threads if they re-emerge.

Just as a note to new members. Some of the threads new members have replied to over the last few weeks with Advert posts are over 2 years old. Before posting it's worth checking the date of the last post. Some of the older posts on technology / HR do come back to life on a regular basis but do check.

Regards to all...

New members, please read this topic.  [24/8/2004 11:14:32]

Just a short reminder to all of our new members (and any existing members who might have forgotten). This topic exists to give you the basic house rules and we recommend all members read it.

If we all play nice then it's a much nicer place to play in :-)

Thanks,

John

Adverts and CCV  [29/7/2005 09:33:26]

Hi all,

A note to our newer members.

We seem to have had a spate of Adverts in the last 2 weeks.
One of which was posted under 3 or 4 different names across
all the public fora.

This is just a gentle reminder (I'm getting soft) that commercial
advertising is not permitted within the forums.

We do, however, have several channels you can use. Ranging from
Banner adverts within the fora to the Products and Services directory
which is available to premium members.

Thanks for your time reading this post.

Advertising Policy - all new members, please read  [30/11/2005 07:44:05]

This includes people trawling for free call centre lists, incidentally ;-)
